Let me paint you a little picture: you’re in love, you’re seeing rainbows everywhere, you just want to express yourself with all the purest, prettiest words: You're my sunshine, You’re the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me, I love how true and honest you are…
But also, love can look a lot like: What did I get myself into? We already talked about this. I think I am going crazy! HOW is this related to my mother???...
This next idea is designed to support you during the negative spirals in your relationship. It’s a way to always remember the positive aspects of the other person and all the wonderful experiences you shared together.
It’s quite simple; it’s about creating motivational pictures and posts that remind you of the positive experiences you had with your partner (Canva is the way to go). Create about 10 to 12 posts adding pictures and comments. Let them roll all day long on a digital photo frame. (It could also be done on an iPad with the application “Digital Photo Frame Slideshows”). The frame can be displayed in a shared common space.
Pro tip: you may want to choose pictures with good hair day, you're going to be seeing them 50 times a day after all.
The idea doesn’t suggest forgetting about your problems or living in a toxic positivity mindset; it's simply a reminder of the core essence of your relationship and the true love that you share.
