Bored of sitting in the house, but tired of the increased prices on *everything*? Look no further, I've compiled a fun list of FREE activities you and your significant other can do together. They are all things my boyfriend and I have done!
Go on a picnic. This is something you can do anywhere. They don't always have to be in a park or at the beach. You could do this on your balcony, or in your backyard. My boyfriend and I have made breakfast sandwiches and driven to a reservoir in our area that has a lookout point over our city. We have even gone to this location during winter and just stayed in the car and enjoyed the view. It is still special.
Attend a free fitness class. Chances are, your local community center or new fitness facility will offer free classes to increase membership/registration sales. They can be high intensity or low intensity, I often see free yoga classes pop up in my area. Get those endorphins flowing together!
Go on a walk together. Again, this seems so simple, but you can do this anywhere! After a long day, my boyfriend and I like to put on our walking shoes and take a walk around the neighborhood. We even did it between football games this past fall. Walks are great for your health, and it's something you can easily do!
Hungry? Cook what you have at home. Go through those cupboards and see what you have laying around. You'll probably have some canned goods that have been in there a while. Try whipping up some chili, or pairing things with any main dishes you have. Turn some music on and make something delicious together!
Have a movie night. Most people have some type of streaming service, such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Disney+, etc. Search "best rated movies" along with the streaming service you have and pick one that checks both of your boxes. Grab a sweet treat you have and snuggle up together!
Try a no-phone/limited phone day. My boyfriend and I do this on the weekends to really enjoy each others company, but this can be done any day/time of your choosing. This allows us to really talk and focus on what the other is saying. The more you do it, the less you'll find yourself reaching for your phone on other days!
