One day when my husband + I were dating, I surprised him by building a cozy blanket fort in his room. We filled it with pillows, set up his computer inside, + watched a movie. It was so much fun pretending to be kids again!
He loved it so much he's since asked if we can do it again. Here are some extra ideas to spice up your blanket fort even more:
Decorate the inside of the fort with some string lights.
Pull in some sleeping bags + make it a sleepover!
Turn all the lights off in the room, shine a flashlight on each others' face, + tell scary stories (then cuddle if you get spooked!)
When it's time to take your fort down, consider starting a friendly pillow fight. ;)
